Assessment and Diagnosis of Personality Disorders: The Case of Borderline Personality Disorder

Participants will gain exposure to and an understanding of the historical and contemporary professional literature relevant to the assessment and diagnosis of personality disorders; the assessment and diagnosis of borderline personality disorder is specifically addressed. Participants will also gain specific evidenced based recommendations concerning assessment; diagnostic; and to a minor extent, treatment strategies for borderline personality disorder. Participants will leave the presentation with information that may assist them in their clinical practice.

This non-medical seminar will discuss the non-modifiable and contribution risk factors for CVD, psychosocial and environmental modification strategies for CVD prevention and management, and an epilogue on sharing about the heart healthy diet and supplements.
